Terms of use
LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 15, 2026
These terms cover using irixstudio.dev and accepting a quote on it. The work we do for you is covered by our Services Agreement and the quote you accept, not by this page.
Who we are
Irix Studio Inc. is a software studio in Toronto, Ontario. Questions about these terms go to contact@irixstudio.dev.
This website
The writing, design and code on this site are ours unless they say otherwise. You're welcome to read, link to and quote them; please don't copy the site wholesale or pass it off as your own.
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's free of errors or always available, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it. Links to other sites are there for convenience, not as an endorsement of what's on them.
Quotes, agreements and acceptance
We send each quote and each Services Agreement as a private link, one per person it goes to. A quote is our offer, open until the “valid until” date printed on it. Only the people your company names as approvers get a link that can accept; anyone else we send it to gets a copy to read.
Typing your name and title and accepting a quote, or signing an agreement or an amendment to it, on that page is an electronic signature, given on behalf of the company named on it. It binds that company just as a signature on paper would, as Ontario's Electronic Commerce Act allows. When a quote comes with an agreement your company hasn't signed yet, accepting the quote also signs the agreement, and the page says so before you do. We record who accepted and when, as described in our privacy policy.
The work itself is governed by the Services Agreement your company signed with us and the quote it accepted. If anything on this page ever disagrees with them, the agreement and the quote win.
Invoices
We invoice each payment in a quote's schedule as it comes due. Each invoice says when it's due and how to pay it.
Privacy
What we collect and why is in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A quote is governed by the terms in place on the day it was accepted.
