Privacy policy

This site sets no cookies for visitors and doesn't track you across other sites. It collects two things: anonymous visit counts, and whatever you choose to send through the contact form.

Who we are

Irix Studio Inc., a software studio in Toronto, Ontario, runs irixstudio.dev. Yousef Majidi is responsible for personal information at the studio. Questions and requests go to contact@irixstudio.dev.

Analytics

Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, and page load speed is measured with Vercel Speed Insights. Neither one uses cookies or stores anything in your browser. Vercel tells visits apart using a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so we see totals (pages viewed, referring sites, country, device type) and never a profile of any one person.

We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful. Since no data is stored on your device, there's nothing to accept or decline.

The contact form

When you send a message we receive your name, your email address and what you wrote. It's delivered to our inbox by Resend and isn't stored in any database on our side. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else: no mailing list, no sharing, no selling.

Messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and for clients, as long as our records obligations require. Ask and we'll delete yours.

Server logs

Like any web host, Vercel records requests (IP address, browser, page requested) to run and secure the site. Those logs are kept briefly under Vercel's own retention policy and aren't used to identify visitors.

Cookies

None for visitors. The only cookies on this domain belong to the site's admin sign-in, are set only when an administrator logs in, and are needed for that to work.

Who processes your data

Hosting, analytics and logs: Vercel Inc. Email delivery: Resend. Both are based in the United States, so your information may be processed and stored there, where it can be subject to US law. Both act only on our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw from any further contact. Email contact@irixstudio.dev and you'll get an answer within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you live in Quebec, or to your local data protection authority if you're in the EU or UK.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves with it.
